Reiki second degree (level two) prepares you for advanced healing. You will begin to transmit and receive more healing energy after completing this level.

Reiki second degree also opens the door to distant healing. You receive the ability to send healing energies to someone at a distance with Reiki second degree methods.This is accomplished with Reiki distant healing symbol which is taught in this level.

You are introduced to Reiki symbols in this level. these symbols are considered sacred by many, hence public disply of these symbols have always raised controversies. In my opinion, Reiki symbols are activated only after proper training ( read attunements ). Hence showing them publicly cannot diminish the sacredness of these symbols.
