Imara means 'more'. Imara reiki is simply 'more reiki'.

Imara Reiki was channeled by two brothers Barton Wendel (Eyovah) and Geoffrey Wendel.

Imara Reiki is taught to third level reiki masters only. The energy has an intensity to it that people not initiated to traditional reiki mastership can have difficulty assimilating and channeling.

It is considered to be the '5th level' of reiki training. (Karuna reiki is considerd to be the 4th level)

Imara reiki does not need symbols for initiation or application. Receivers and channels of imara reiki usually report making connections with angels and spirit guides.

Imara reiki is said to heal past life and trauma related issues.
