Does Reiki Make you Reclusive?
My personal experience says it to be true.
All the reiki pratitioners that i have come into contact starting from my initiation to this date, were, more or less somewhat reclusive in nature.
I myself was an outgoing person before i took the initiation. Reiki started a process of attitudinal and perception changes which till date i have not been able to fully comprehend.
Perhaps reiki has changed frequency of my energy body which is now way above the average people. Perhaps this is what happens to all people who take initiations. Their frequencies are altered for life. Hence they do not find pleasure in interactions with other people who are not initiated (hence not vibrating in the same frequency :)).
What do you say?
I totally disagree
I have been attuned for 10 years and am very social.
Surprisingly true
Yes, reiki does tend to change the frequency of the people practising it. This leads one towards a more healthier life style and lesser physical interactions with those who are not in vibrational harmony with the Reiki channel. Though this can be a very good sign of people coming into terms with their new found reality, it tends to make the others who aren't initiated into Reiki theink that those people are shunning them or avoiding them. This creates a conflict in present society where one believes that in order to be called sociable, one needs to be around and do what everyone thinks is normal.
I have experienced this in no easy way and have only now realised that I can have the best of both worlds. Practise reiki daily and remain grounded and focused. Go out too and enjoy what life has to offer to the maximum.
Blessings!
